Thức khuya đã mệt đã đời

Chưa kịp đi ngủ thì trời sáng mơ

Bốn rưỡi đã chạy có cờ

Cho kịp xe chạy, ui trời thiệt lâu

Hai trăm cây số đường dầu

Quanh co, khúc khuỷu thiệt sầu bạn ơi

Đến nơi cũng gần trưa rồi

Thẩy trò mừng rỡ đưa giùm quà vô

Các cháu thôi không đùa nô

Xếp hàng ngay ngắn nhận quà trước sân....

Mỗi em được nhận một phần

Gạo bao mười ký nhà cần miếng ăn

Áo ấm em mặt mùa đông

Và một túi nhỏ đi cùng thiệt vui

Mở ra, bót, bút, vở nè

Lại thêm gói kẹo thiệt là sướng hung:)

Cho dù chưa tới mùa đông

Em cũng mặc áo áo chụp hình cùng nhau

Xong rùi tui tới phòng ăn

Bông dưng nước mắt rưng rưng tuôn trào

Động viên các cháu vùng cao

Một bài hát mộc dạt dào tình thương

Hát rằng:

Em ăn em học cho hăng

Học răng cho giỏi cho bằng người ta

Tương lai trước mắt bao la

Chìa khóa học tập mở ra huy hoàng....

Về nhà nước mắt hai hàng

Nhìn hình, thương cảm, làm càng bài thơ:

Buồn vui lẫn lộn Trà Văn

Đường về dừng lại chụp hình cùng nhau

Cầu sao có phép nhiệm mầu

Trái tim nối trái tim hiền

Bàn tay thân ái khắp  miền gần xa

Chút quà tình nghĩa gọi là

Sẻ chia giúp đở người già, trẻ thơ

Bao người khổ cực bơ vơ

Thân thì đau ốm tâm buồn lo âu

Cầu sao có phép nhiệm mầu

Tâm Minh Thiện Nguyện nối cầu ái nhân

BREATHE AND SMILE

Kate looked exhausted when I picked her and her boyfriend Max at the airport late at night. Max said Kate couldnot eat for the last two days and they had to get up very early this morning and they had a really long day.

I said to Kate: " Tomorrow I will find a way to make you feel better."  Kate was curious  "How? You have some herbs or some medicine?"  " A poem!"

After performance the poem in the morning, Kate was much better indeed!

STORY OF THE CORDYLINE PLANT

“Oh Master, can you save our lives?”

A woman and her five young children cried

“What can I do for you?”

– “It is just simple, please, please don’t ring the morning bell”

Or we all have to go to hell...
 

The Monk did not wake his novice  to ring the bell as usual

He was praying quietly when his neighbor, a butcher   shouted in anger…

" I  rely on your morning bell to wake up and kill pigs to sell to the market
It is too late now, what can I do today!!!”

The Monk told the Butcher his dream last night

"A mother and five babies came to me and cried

And asked me to skip the bell to save their lives…"

“That’s nonsense!” the butcher said and went away…

He came home and saw his wife smile

“We are lucky, the pig had five babies. How nice!

It is so good that you didn’t kill her today…”

His wife looked at him in surprise

To see him so terrified...

The Butcher told his wife the story

The Monk told him this morning

The couple was filled with regrets

They had caused so many deaths...

The Butcher came to the pagoda to bare his heart to the Monk

He stuck his knife in the soil and raised his voice

“I never kill again for all my life”

His knife rested in peace

From Mother Land, right in that place, appeared a tree

It has bloody leaves
That look like knives

It is the Cordyline...
